Description & Facts: The Torus Mountains come down across south central Anatolia, Turkey, and meet the Mediterranean abruptly in cliff faces and a few small coastal valleys. This makes the drive nearest the coastline a spectacular mountain ride, full of corkscrew climbs and hairpin bends. I was fortunate to get a seat at the front of the coach, which is a public coach, costing just 34 Turkish Lira, Adana-Alanya. Try the Turkish public coach system sometime, it's brilliant!
