If you always stay at Waikiki when you visit Honolulu, you may want to check out Koolina, very nice lagoon beaches, resort style hotel, marina, away from the city but you can get to Waikiki in 45 minutes with no traffic. I live 15 minutes from Koolina, I shot this video one week after I purchased my first camcorder. I went down to Koolina before sun raise, stay there for about 2 to 3 hours. One shot.
